OUR TARGET AUDIENCE

AUDIENCE CONTRIBUTION

Throughout the process of editing and creating different versions of the same scenes, myself and Scope Productions were receiving audience feedback throughout, making sure we were getting both positive and negative feedback. This was important because we needed to make sure we were staying on track and improving the correct things. Although the majority of our audience feedback was from our parents, we still managed to get some feedback from our target audience. Along with that, our parents made the observation that the opening was clearly for a younger audience (due to the extremely snappy style). This showed us that we were on track to creating an opening that was well fitted to our target audience. This feedback can be seen on 'Sample Scenes'

SOCIAL MEDIA

We have set up social media's in order to connect with our target audience. TikTok focuses on an audience that's relatively young, therefore that would target the younger spectrum. Instagram has a slightly more mixed audience, as there are a lot of young people on it, while also some older. Twitter is also more familiar to younger adults. We also designated a role to each social media, as we can give more time to social media's that suit each of us better. I am in charge of the Tiktok, as I have experience on the app, Tristan will takeover the Twitter account and Emma will take over Instagram. Here are the links:
As I was in charge of Tiktok, it meant I could have access to the younger audience. I decided to act as a Tristan Plumridge super-fan. I made TikToks about:

  • Doing my best zombie impression
  • Interviewing Tristan Plumridge
  • Sharing a leaked script and scene
  • Quizzing my fans
  • Other silly activities to interact with fans
